It’s Poison Ivy Season

I have had a rush on Jewelweed salve the past couple of weeks. No, not the fresh spring plants growing, at least not around here yet, but the old dried up leaves from last year.

The weather is getting warmer, the ground is bone dry and everyone is out raking leaves and getting into the poison ivy!

I have an organic Jewelweed and Yarrow salve that works great for poison ivy, but the time to use it is when you catch it and not be waiting several days for it to arrive in the mail. It’s no fun being up all night itching!

Our organic salve contains fresh dried wild harvested jewelweed and yarrow from our fields, nicely infused in organic olive oil. Works like a charm to stop the itch and heal up that oozing, red itch rash. I just finished up a fresh batch…
