Farm Fresh Canning Jar Labels
It continues to be so unbelievably hot and humid here today so outside work, cooking, baking or other high activity projects are out of the question. It has been some time since I have had a chance to create on the computer so today seems like the perfect time.
For this project I used several jars of carrot relish I traded some computer work for a few weeks ago. These are headed to the ladies helping me decorate the Old Home Day float our “guys” will be riding on in the Parade. Dick’s Masonic Lodge is celebrating their 200th year this year and they thought participating in our town’s parade most fitting since this is where their lodge originally started so many years ago. They will stop the parade in front of The Lane Tavern so they can dedicate a plant to the Historical Society and the building. Guess who was volunteered to coordinate finding the trailer and decorating it for the event…yours truly.
First I picked a pretty scrap of fabric and cut it into a circle large enough to cover the lid of the jar. Found some jute string and printed my label. A quick assembly and these will make a lovely small thank you for their help.
I hope you use and enjoy these.
